Uganda Adventure Travel ~ Uganda Holidays
Uganda is a land rich in cultural background, political history, and natural resources. We are pleased to offer a series of “closer look safaris” which are designed to give you an in-depth understanding about what you see and experience as you travel through Uganda.
These safaris are customized to focus on your particular areas of interest whether these are cultural, historical, political, environmental, criminological, or art-oriented. When you book, state your group’s special focus or interest, and we can then select the appropriate resource personnel to make your safari especially rewarding and informative. A minimum of six people are required.
Uganda, in the heart of East Africa, is full of the wonders of nature. With landscapes that range from snow capped peaks through broad savannah, rainforests to arid semi-desert, as well as wetlands of international importance. Uganda is one of the best countries to visit for safaris.
Located on the western side of the Great Rift Valley, Uganda benefits from Flora and Fauna species of both East and West Africa in addition to having a wide variety of indigenous species. In western Uganda, the mountain ranges of the Rwenzoris and Virungas extend into the neighboring Democratic Republic of Congo (formerly Zaire). On the eastern border lies Mount Elgon, an ancient, extinct volcano.
